Our Clean Creek program, a cooperative effort between FODC, West Virginia University, and watershed businesses and other organizations, will follow ten key sites in the watershed with quarterly water quality testing. Beginning in the fall of 2002, the program is tracking short-term and long-term progress toward a healthy creek. Annual "State of the Creek" reports will reach local and state decision-makers.

Be a Clean Creek sponsor! A $300 contribution will support laboratory fees and overhead for one site for a year. Sponsors will receive prominent recognition in our newsletter Deckers Creek Update, which reaches more than 800 households three times a year, and on our Web site. Watershed residents want to see the creek brought back to life. Your sponsorship will be noticed and appreciated by hundreds of local consumers.
To find out how you can be a Clean Creek sponsor, contact FODC co-president Evan Hansen at 304/291-8205 or at info@DeckersCreek.org.
