At FODC, we believe that education about Earth's processes, natural cycles, and wildlife is an important factor in advocating for the health of our environment.

What we offer

We have provided meaningful watershed educational events via STEM activities, research- based projects, service learning, citizen scientist monitoring, Youth Advisory Board, and professional guest speaker events.

How we implement

We have implemented our education as standalone activities, as a day of scientific exploration, and also as a long-term series of lessons with research-based projects and field experience.

Who we educate

We have experience working with a wide variety of audiences. We have led events during the school day in local elementary, middle, and high schools while also engaging after-school and summer programs. We also help educate and empower local adults through our Citizen Science program.

How you can help
